Games you're thinking about playing

@“Hunter”#p134179 The “O” in “Okami” stands for “Oh my Kami, this game is way way way too long.”

@“Hunter”#p134179 I‘ve also never played Okami, but my ex bought it on switch last year and I watched her play some and we both felt it was probably extremely my thing.

One day I’ll get to it…right?

@“nolimitsquesting”#p134156 It does kind of have a PC port in that you can play it through the PC port of Yakuza 6. There‘s a simple hack/mod which will even boot the game into the regular ol console mode. You could even use a program like Parsec to do online play with a little coordination. I understand if that’s a little more work than you actually want to put in to just play a fighting game, but do check out VF5 when you can! It's very very good!

@“TheFragranceOfDarkCoffee”#p134466 I‘ve also heard that FS plays pretty well on a ps3 emulator which also has online play but that’s also a pretty good work around!

Thinking about playing all of these

Magic: The Gathering Arena, but I will be pointing a gun at it the entire time I play it as free-to-play models are wretched things.

Thinking about… too many games…

@“treefroggy”#p134602 All at the same time.

Thinking about playing every Star Ocean game. The one I REALLY want to play is the SO2 remake but I ordered a physical copy and for some reason it won‘t be here until november. :frowning: I also want to play SO on snes because it’s beautiful and I didn‘t get very far in it. I also want to finish SO4 even though the story and characters are awful. I think I’m 75% through it so I just need to power through. And then I can attempt 5 and 6, maybe.

thinking about playing all the games

@“Andy B”#p134657 I’m thinking of playing the SO2 remake too! The demo was a nice surprise, especially after finding SO1R to be shockingly antique feeling. I’ve never played any other Star Ocean games than 1 and 2 though!

@“Karasu”#p134659 Honestly I feel like they might be the best? Personally SO1R shocked me with how solid and good looking it was.

I‘ve been playing Star Ocean: Second Story (Sony Playstation, 1999) off and on for about a year and that’s why I don‘t post about it in this thread: I’m actively playing it! (I just washed up on a beach after getting defeated by a pink dude with wings!) But I‘m certainly thinking about getting that remake!:money_with_wings: I’m unlikely to get the physical version and most likely to buy the remake when it is on sale some time. Kinda like that Etrian Odyssey HD package.

Several good games are up on the “PlayStation Plus Extra Money” tier.

Hypnospace Outlaw is on sale on Switch….strong targeted advertising caught me downloading it last night, now thinking of playing it, or Gravity Rush, or Alan Wake Remastered…

@“skelly”#p134829 I feel like whenever a person puts down Vampire Survivors they have had enough Vampire Survivors. Great game, definitely don‘t need to play it again after you’ve put it down.

    thinkin about it

I‘m thinking about playing Castlevania II: Simon's Quest. The original Castlevania is one of my favorite games ever, but I’ve never played the NES sequels. People say III is where it‘s at, but what I’ve heard about II is intriguing and I'm excited to try it.

    @“RubySunrise”#p137019 Castlevania 2 is cooool.

Always been a big defender of that game.

Yeah there‘s some cryptic nonsense in the game, but what about LoZ?

I honestly don’t know how people feel about the og LoZ anymore, but I think it holds up quite well.

Games like these I think have actively aged better with time because no one cares about looking at guides anymore, right?

Anyway I'm thinking about playing Steambot Chronicles and I think I will be in about 5 minutes.
