Armor's for jerks, show me spellcasters!
Magic users tend to have some of the most versatile approaches in design, so I though it'd be fun to get a thread going to share some favorites.
Not a deep cut in any sense, but I love Kuome, Kotake and Twinrova from _ TloZ:OoT_

Anthony Clark of the webcomics Nedroid and Back once drew a wizard a day throughout 2017 based on a new prompt each time and they are delightful

Great thread! The two that immediately spring to mind come from the Souls game.
Yuria the Witch from the original Demons Souls. Treated as a pariah but are still really cool characters compared to anyone from the church.

They call this guy “chess master” but that‘s a Chess Wizard if I’ve ever seen one.

I almost always play as a magic user if given the choice. I need to narrow it down to my favorite ones design wise and make a big post later!

Red Mages from FF are some of my favorites. Love a light melee magic caster.
I always thought Tessa was a cool witch. She‘s originally from Red Earth, but let’s be real nobody cares about that game and her appearance in Pocket Fighter is better. Loved that she showed up in SNK vs. Capcom Chaos(a game I'll say is underrated till the day I die!)

My favorite class in 14 is the Astrologian. Basically a cards and space wizard.
