@“treefroggy”#p79903 The arguments that Dr. Mario is conservative have been sound, but look at those alt colors. Man is rocking those pastels in a tasteful way that I don‘t see a republican doing. They’d be too worried about gender normative behavior and looking gay
Man has drip. Not saying that conservatives can't have drip... But it's rare
Speaking of Rare: [I kinda felt like he's the type to buy a "let's go brandon" t-shirt](https://realibleworldnews.com/funky-kong-canceled-after-being-outed-as-a-conservative/)
Arguments in favor of Mario being Jewish: it's the only image in which he is shown [not reading](https://www.mariowiki.com/Mario_Quiz_Cards#/media/File:Illiteracy_quiz_card.jpg).
Arguments against Mario being Jewish: Certain sects of Judaism may not recognize converts, IE only those with a Jewish mother are recognized as members of the Jewish community, and we don't know what Mrs. Mario's religious status was (is?).
I was gonna say Mario is surely Christian, then I was reminded of those times he was practicing Judaism and Islam. I think I‘m onto something here, but first I must present you with this:
he might have been catholic or jewish originally, buuut… do y‘all think he converted to the Mushroom Kingdom’s religion when he got there? i mean if it‘s a kingdom there’s gotta be a religion among the royalty. if so what's the name of this religion? maybe rosalina and the lumas are involved as some sort of deity or holy figures
@“穴”#p80141 the castle in 64 is very ecclesiastic, with Peach's profile in a prayer posture located prominently above the entrance. Could be a Church of England situation, Mario being her six(ty-four)th consort.
@“Syzygy”#p80120 the image of Mario in prayer towards the “Koran” is Christianized. I'm not an expert on all the ways to pray, but I do not associate that hand position with Muslim prayer at all. I also find his orientation toward the Quran suspicious, like the artist misunderstood what the qibla is/means.
along similar lines, I'm not sure jewish people display and view the menorah from a sharp side-on perspective. Not really my place to say though and I welcome any corrections
