Oops, not a CRT
My earliest memory of my grandfather was him being extremely native American, stoic and stern, watching my older brother play Raiders of the Lost Ark on the atari and appeared very put off by the whole thing.

I spotted this beautiful little CRT today. This form factor is my dream setup. In the moment, the vhs version of Kim Gordon spoke to me on some astral plane, beckoning me to grab the tv and run out the store. Some portion of cooler mind prevailed, so I took this picture to post here instead.
Also, this is generally what I picture whenever they mention Brandon’s setup on the podcast.

I found this rf broadcaster. I’m very curious to see if it works. I feel like I’m at the final leg if my quest to have the worst image quality I can get.

I wish I could like this twice! RF is delightful. I found an HDMI to RF transcoder and it is a fun, albeit imperfect (due to 480i output), solution for getting contemporary devices onto a CRT.

My tv is (sometimes unfortunately) about 500 times bigger (not really, but it’s a 32").
I do also have a couple nice little 13" tvs though. I plan to bring one to @pattheflip’s when he starts doing fighting game events at his place. Gonna leave it there with a saturn and a copy of asuka.
@connrrr I’m sad for the dead tv but also this is a very nice graffito. I kinda want to try playing sonic 2 on that.

I know this isn’t exactly what you’re talking about, but I do enjoy seeing the late era HD CRTs with like Final Fantasy VII-2 running on them. Also Choops streams with his HD pvm are incredible looking

a band i know from 'round here just put this music video out. lots of portable CRT shots in there, plus analog video synth. NSFW: lots of skin but nothing that needs pixellating i think? view at your own risk i guess!

Found on the sidewalk on my street
Unfortunately has some issues. Big black lines on the top and the bottom portion of the screen is just blank. Picture looks squashed too, and the colors are really muted. Oh well!

Maybe you could find someone to try to bring it back? It looks like a great tv.

Might be worth finding access to the service menu. Some of the issues could be remedied that way.
