New month, new game! September 2024’s game is E.V.O.: Search for Eden for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System:
I just nominated a game but it showed up in row 64 of the spreadsheet for reasons I don’t know, so I thought I should say it’s there because it doesn’t seem like it is at first glance.
This is a weird quirk of Google Forms and archiving old entries. New entries get inserted at the old row count. I’ve just moved them up at the start of each month but will also add a note in the spreadsheet too.
I was thinking, it’s been a while since we had a themed month. Maybe we could do something scary for October? Anybody have a cool game they’d want to throw out for that?
If I were to suggest one, maybe Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve played through it, and it might be fun to compare notes on builds and approaches to levels and stuff. And it’s got plenty of spooky stuff going on.
Anything else come to mind for anybody? We could also just proceed business-as-usual, of course.
I’d be down for that or for similar.
A short Halloween one I’d go for would be Forbidden Forest or Beyond the Forbidden Forest. It may just be that I played it when I was a very small kid, but it still fills me with apprehension. It’s you with a bow versus a monster with foreboding music.
There’s already one on the spreadsheet where the submitter asked for it to not be picked until October. Maybe that one?
Oh yeah there is one of those!
