The 2000s were a time
2 seasons!
One more than that stupid GEICO Cavemen TV show got.
this might be the best post on here
thats interesting. Any idea when it was pressed?
I’ll look when I get home from the park.
I’m 90% sure I saw a copy of that in the audio library I’m an intern at. We had a pretty cool collection of indigenous music.
would check but I paused my internship to work on something else and I’m not there rn
It’s a very distinctive cover
here it is I believe

what’s the label on the record itself say? Curious about when it was released. Strange+impressive to see Gerald Nailor art used for the cover like that in the 1950s(?)
78s are notorious for having no documentation or copyright dates. Late 40s or early 50s is a good guess. They’re definitely electronically recorded as they’re extremely shrill on my orthophonic Victrola. It’s sadly a hallmark of electronic recording.
yeah the Thunderbird pressings are 33s from the looks of it and seems to be the more common. Kind of late in the game for 78s, no? interesting record
strangely 78s were still around into the late 50’s. The portable windup models were used in places away from electricity like parks and the beach. Later orthophonic players were tuned for electronically recorded 78s. I want one of those but the plastic parts used to make parts of the head are super brittle. The ones I’ve seen are always falling apart. I’m hoping one day i find a 3d print file for the head.
Fun fact, the diaphragm on the old ones like mine use a thin sheet of mica. I couldn’t’ believe it when I was ordering parts when I refurbished mine.
