I didn’t realise it was for that trilogy remake hmmmm that changes things. But hey maybe it’s fixed now I’m curious how you got with it.
I’ve read that it is much improved by significant work from when it went mobile, likely by Rockstar’s internal teams (as they’ve removed the former team’s logo, which is sketch in any case), but $60 (or a Rockstar subscription HA) is way outside of curiosity territory
The first time I met who would become my parents-in-law, during dinner, dad-in-law and I said, “You have chosen wisely” at the same time. I forget about what.
And now I’m looking at Star Wars Outlaws and the new Indiana Jones game, and it’s quite likely I’ll play neither, at least not soon. Jaffe liking Outlaws and a review of a friend of mine has made me open to it. The issue is really focus, and having too many RPGs I want to play. Dragon Quest III is probably on my list after Christmas. Maybe someday I’ll get through Metaphor.
Depending on what’s chosen it may be a while before I can get around to playing it but for this specific poll I’m asking which of these first:
- Diofield Chronicle
- Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2
- Tactics Ogre: Reborn
- Triangle Strategy
I voted IV cuz I most recently tried to play San Andreas and I could not stand the jokes. Guess they’re all like that huh
yes but I mean ricky gervais does actual standup comedy in IV
I chose Diofield Chronicle because I want to know what someone thinks of Diofield Chronicle.
Let’s be honest. No one thinks of Diofield Chronicle.
Right! That’s what makes this a valuable chance.
I played the demo of Diofield!! My takeway was “I don’t know how to feel about this”
(having a 3D home base to walk around between missions was kinda fun though)
You can’t lose with any of the top 3 tactical choices, really.
Triangle Strategy is no tactics or tactics ogre-- in a good way. I like how each character is really specialized.
I too played the Diofield demo and just could not gel with the slow-rts with constant special move pausing.
I voted for Diofield purely because the name sounds funny,
Oh my god lmao
Same for me. It was nice, but it felt bland for me in terms of story, and in combat… not much that feels enticing either.
I think it’s safe to say that Tactics Ogre is the winner but I really do want to play Diofield Chronicle - it’s sat right next to my TV!
yes… I am guilty of similar sins (not diofield but I have a stack of like 12 games next to my tv)
Whoa, I thought you were just implying that the social commentary humor would be bad, which I expected. But that sure is something else
I keep swapping between discs pls help
- Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
- Metaphor ReFantazio
Thank you for the help guys - I will continue down the path of very long RPG with Metaphor. I think deep down I knew this was the correct choice.
I have too many gaming blind spots and I need to start hacking away at my back catalog (choose 1-2):
- Earthbound
- Dark Souls
- Nier: Replicant
- The Last of Us
- Final Fantasy IX
