This could also go in the mug check thread but a few weeks ago my girlfriend and I went to a place where you could decorate pottery and we both did a mug each, which arrived in the mail a couple of days ago. I am not artistically competent and unfortunately the store didn’t have tiny brushes so my writing looks childlike!

I was going to but the store was rushing us to leave / for them to close and we were told that we needed to paint a design three times for it to show up after being in the kiln. Also I’m kinda cack-handed so it wouldn’t have turned out OK. Oops!
My first old magazine just arrived from the Video Game History Foundation, and it’s going to be a fun issue to go through for sure. Already excited for next month’s mag. Despite my initial plans to not accumulate a bunch of these… I’m definitely going to, and enjoy doing so.
scored a 1988 vintage Love And Rockets poster. Was in some sadly defunct record store’s storage unit mint, unopened and the former owner was selling things off. Spent 35 years tightly rolled and sealed in a plastic sleeve, so I’m carefully straightening it before taking in for framing
googled ‘how to straighten tightly wound poster’ but noticed it gave me “AI” advice so went to good old fashioned wiki-how instead

yeah it was a little on the pricey side and will be more so when I get it under uv-filter glass, but I did luck out in getting it. I still kick myself for passing when Gilbert was selling original pages directly through his old wordpress blog for like $75 bucks. Now you look at art dealer sites and the same stuff is going for five figures. So this poster is some consolation at least

A certain @Lunarchivist sent me a very lovingly packaged DMG that I’m gonna reshell, along with a game that we are going to pretend is Cliffhanger (1993).
Also included was this extremely good soft carrying case.
There’s even a pouch on the back and a slot to thread your belt through! Thank you, my dude!!!!
