A new picture book came in on Thursday!
property tax bills.
good photo!! I love seeing them all together.
Ooh, I didn’t know when I ordered it, but the new Monkey Ball game comes with a cover sleeve and a really cute full-color glossy “adventure book”. I really miss games coming with instruction booklets full of art and lore.
Received this month’s vintage mag from https://gamehistory.org today, and I blurted out an audible “ooooooooh” to myself when I saw the cover. What a beaut!
hmm I should too. I keep having to guess which card a save file is in (or which card has room for a new save file on it)
Got this wonderful machine delivered yesterday. I did some rudimentary setup for the emulators that are most relevant to me for now and loaded up some games to see how everything is running. Looks good so far! (FE: Fates is giving me some stutters but it also did this when I tried it on PC. I’m quite inexperienced with emulation so this could be due to all kinds of user error.) I’ll reserve fiddling with daijisho for another day.
I’m looking forward to curating my collection and taking this little guy with me on train rides and the like in the future.
I got a check in the mail from a law firm who sued Sony for a data breach at Crunchyroll. I was one of many whose information was compromised.
Thanks for the groceries, Sony!
(No picture provided for obvious reasons.)
ah, I want dreamcast selected works so bad.
The reprint is still in stock if you’re currently looking for it!
(btw vol 3 was excellent and very excited for the minis coming up)
thank you, really glad you liked it! I think it’s my favourite so far.
OH!!! I see… I keep getting these disc replacement thingies or loaders or whatever and I simply have not used any of them even one time. Why am I scared of ROMs? Who can say. Ironic from a guy who claims to love the PC Engine’s CD RomRom system.
Maybe your first rom should be a Rom Rom Stadium then? If you have that many in one go, you can be sure to know if you’re scared by them or scared by them.
It’s handy. There have been so many hacks, fan translations and other cool unofficially released things in the last few years, so this is an easy way of playing them without burning DVDs. You don’t even need a modified PS2 to use it.
Have you had much luck getting it to run the games you want to play?
