Everything I’ve tried has worked, but I haven’t tried that much.

Used my silver points to pick up these Nintendo box art post cards from the eshop rewards thing. The print quality is actually unbelievably nice. Super sharp, great colors.

I’m sure pen pal organizing been attempted before on IC but would anyone be interested in a postcard exchange? :-)

These rule! I don’t have any cool postcards lying around but I sure would start looking for one if you want to be pen pals!

The dualsense is my all time favourite controller. Got one for my PS2.

Mine too. I just wish the battery lasted about twice as long.

Sony’s controllers have never been good in this area. Just outstandingly bad battery life and longevity.

Very cool! I love little mundane historical books like that. I’ve got a music history textbook that talks about Brahms like he’s still alive, because he was when it was written. It’s grounding to remember the world now is still the world from then.

I collect antique books and ephemera. The oldest pieces I have are 16th century writings from France.

would be interested in seeing more of that stuff if you ever feel like posting it

I have hundreds upon hundreds of articles in my collection, but these were most immediately available to snap a picture.

The French manuscript is kept under museum conditions. The tannins in the inks eat through paper over the centuries. Wherever the ink is most saturated is where the holes begin; at the crossing of an “X”, for instance.

It is a contract of change in ownership of an estate. “Liste contrats à Changé.” The man named is Besnard Jery Lombard Pottier. The initial contract began in 1526, and this page is an amendment to it from 1608.

I live a precious life, so I get these from estates and private collections as I travel. Knowing French helps find listings online as well, which I verify myself through photos. One way being what I had mentioned earlier, period appropriate inks containing tannins that eat into the page.
