I’ve looked a bit and cannot find what I’m thinking of. Do we have a thread to share and collect images of computer desktops and UI in fictional media?

I’m remembering someone sharing or talking about the in-game browser in Front Mission 3, among others.

I could also just be remembering someone mentioning it in the PSX thread, buying that game on my Vita, and falling in love with the UI.

I think it’s gone! I went looking for it when the move happened and couldn’t find it, and remembered the person who posted the thread had deleted their account. I think when that happens it dooms all their threads, which is a serious bummer. Would love to have an admin weigh in though.

This there a thread for displays that aren’t CRT’s? There’s a lot of uncommon LCD displays only a fraction of which in know about and this seems like it might be a place to share and learn about them.

I’m going to make that display thread at some point but I need to dig up some things from storage.

My question is, is there a food thread? Like for cooking and the like? I see some that are too specific like non traditional recipes and recipes but I want to post in a more general thread. Given the search function resistant thread titles we like to use, I want to make sure before making my own.

We have the unorthodox food thread you mentioned and The Insert Credit Cookbook (the recipe thread). People share their recipes or link to other people recipes so I guess it can be considered a food thread,
